"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse."

This means that wealthiness comes form the way you are like from inside you not from your purse. Like say that a wealthy person give money to a person that needs it his wealth is coming from his heart but fiscally is coming out of his/ her purse. One time I gave a homeless money and when I gave him the money I knew it was the right think to do and I felt good after words.So it telling us that the wealth you have inside you purse is not the same as the one you have inside of you.
