Some things I like about this class are the way you get treated this class has respect for everybody.I also like the way our teacher teaches us about life and how to live a better life.

Well I really like everything in this class but i think that we all should have more communication.

Some recommendations I think that the students should have more communication.

The highlight that I liked the most was that you showed everybody or at least me how to be a CTR person.

Well I think that I did good but not my best and I’m planning on trying my best next semester.

Yes I’m reading my life planning goals and I’m also reporting and i think that this has been helping me a lot.

I’m committed to being a CTR person but when you choose the right your life is way more better and good thing come to you.People are also going to like you more and are going to want to be with you more.

This quote is really true because when you lie about something it could actually lead to another lie. Like one time I told my mom that I went to the barbershop to cut my hair and I actually went with my friends. Then when I came back with out a hair cut she asked me didn’t I cut it, and I told her that it was close. She then told me that she passed by and it was opened and that was when I lie to her again telling her that they close early and when I got there it was close already. After this day I learned that lying can lead to another.

This quote mean that if you have bad friend it’s better for you to not have any friends because bad friend make you do bad things and that is not right.Like if your friends tell you to go with them to drink it’s better for you to stay home and do something better with your life instead of doing bad things. So if your friends tell you you go do bad things them they are not really your friends so choose wisely who are your friends and who are not.

Teenagers face real problems on a daily basis during the most awkward growth stages of their lives; between 13 and 19-years-old. During this time, teens are exposed to some overwhelming external and internal struggles. Teens go through, and are expected to cope with hormonal changes, puberty, social and parental forces, work and school pressures, as well as encountering many conditions and problems.

The most common problems that teenagers face today include:

Being a CTR person helps you overcome some of these challenges by respecting yourself and by choosing the right all the time. You also need to hang out with the right people and not do bad things.

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:

A health science librarian conducts in-depth research on different medical topics in order to find the latest information available. These librarians are in charge of arranging and distributing clinical, scientific, and biomedical information for texts, journals, and electronic databases. Health science librarians are skilled at producing detailed bibliographies related to many different health fields, as well as publications and abstracts. Their primary task is to use their access to extensive national networks to locate books, journals, and articles a customer may need, no matter where it is in the country. They are employed in various settings like health organization libraries, health information centers, pharmaceutical companies, and medical schools.

Salary: $80,170,

Education:

To become a professional health science librarian, you must first complete a high school education with courses in science, math, and information technology and management. A bachelor’s degree in life sciences should then be followed by a master’s degree in library science (MLS), which is licensed through the American Library Association.

I think i would like to be a health sciences librarian because they get payed a lot and i think i would like the job.

Thanksgiving Week

This thanksgiving week was awesome because There was no school.On Sunday I went to the Lakers game they were playing the Chicago Bulls it was a really good game but the bulls won and that’s the team I go for. On monday I just stayed home watching some movies I watched Pete’s Dragon and it was a sad movie. On Thursday it was thanksgiving and my aunt and uncle went to my house and we had a good time eating kinds of food. I didn’t go shopping on black Friday because my mom was too tired and she didn’t want to take me.but it was a good week i had fun.

This quote is telling us that a man without manners is not really man.A real man does what is right and is always a C.T.R person and has manners.He also has respect for others.My mom always tells me that i need to be a man with manners because later on people are going to like the way you are and you personality. Like a man that hits his wife is not a man at all because he has no manners. Your manners show the kind of person you are but if you don’t have manners nobody is gonna want to be your friend.

This quote is basically telling us to not do bad things or lie. If you always lie people will start losing your trust and you won’t have friends anymore.So always be grateful for what you have and never lie or do anything bad because you will lose your friends. If you ever do a bad thing there is always going to be some consequences to what you do.Like when i was small I would thing that i could get way from anything but then I learned that everything has consequences.

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving is a particularly American holiday. The word evokes images of football, family reunions, roasted turkey with stuffing, pumpkin pie and, of course, the Pilgrims and Wampanoag, the acknowledged founders of the feast.

Giving thanks for the Creator’s gifts had always been a part of Wampanoag daily life. From ancient times, Native People of North America have held ceremonies to give thanks for successful harvests, for the hope of a good growing season in the early spring, and for other good fortune such as the birth of a child. Giving thanks was, and still is, the primary reason for ceremonies or celebrations.

What this quote is telling us is that if you hang out with wise people you will be wise but if you hang out with bad people you're going to be a bad person.When I was younger I would  hang out with the wrong people and I would do bad things ,but now that I realize I wasn’t being a C.T.R person I stopped hanging out with them. And now I don’t do bad things anymore because I am a C.T.R person and I know what’s right and what's wrong.So rember to always walk with wise people because you don’t want to be destroyed

   Gainesville Tornadoes is a prison basketball team and they play  schools. They only play when they do good in school. They were on there way to play a high school and the high school basketball players said that there were not going to play a team with no fans. So before the game the basketball players from the high school told their fans to be the other team's fans because they don't have no fans at all. The prison basketball team was surprised when they saw their fans.

This quote means that the best way to recreate yourself is by doing good. So if you want to recreate yourself you must be a good person so you won’t be a bad person anymore. William wrote this quote for all those who want to start a new life and want to stop being a C.T.W person. If you have bad grades and you want to do better you must do good in school so that you can get better grades and the best recreation to get better grades is to do good.

This quote means that when something is right it right like if you are in your class and your teacher asked for the homework and everyone lies and say the she didn’t gave them any homework because they didn’t do it just because everyone is lying it doesn’t mean it’s right.So when somethig is wrong it can never turn out to be right.There was this one time when I was younger some boys in my school would bully othere kids and one day I told then that they were doing wrong and they said “that it was right because the had deserved it.” And that was wrong because no one deserves to get bullied.

An example of this quote is like if you want want good grades and you also want to watch T.V all  day without doing your homework  you are not going to get good grades because you are not doing your homework.And you are sacrificing what you want most for what you want now so in other words you are sacrificing your grades because you want to watch T.V and your are not doing your homework. Peter Vidmar is basically telling us to not give up something we really want for something that we just want that is not really important. I want to study for a test because I really want a good grade but i also want to go play football I am not going to go play football because I really want to get a good grade and I am not going to sacrifice what I really want the most just to go play football. 

Homecoming usually centers around a football game, but schools have been known to have homecoming basketball, soccer or even hockey games. It’s an annual tradition for most American high schools and some colleges and universities.

Many schools kick off their homecoming celebrations with a Spirit Week. Starting on Monday, each day of the week is themed, and students are encouraged to participate. For example, Monday could be “crazy hair day,” Tuesday could be “rent a senior” day,” Wednesday could be “wear your pajamas to school day.” Some schools have competitions among the classes to see who has the most school spirit.

The football game is the main homecoming attraction, because the current students and alumni can attend. There’s generally a huge crowd and lots of energy, so the pressure is on for the home team to win. If a school doesn’t have a football team, there can also be a basketball, soccer or hockey game.

This quote tells us that that a good name is rather chosen then great riches because a good name has more value than richer. A name would have more value because a good name shows what kind of person you are. 

Health Educator

Duties and responsibilities:

Health educators who work in medical facilities provide patients with information on their diagnosis and treatment, as well as tips on staying healthy. They teach group classes on health topics and train medical staff on how to communicate with patients. Health educators employed by private companies may conduct staff health screenings, design healthy workplace programs, or create incentives for employees to lose weight, quit smoking or increase their level of exercise.

Education:Most health educator jobs require a bachelor’s degree at minimum and some employers may prefer candidates who also are Certified Health Education Specialists, the BLS reports. Undergraduate fields of study include health promotion or health education, and often include an internship.

I would like to be a health educator because they help people have a better life and be more healthy.

This quote is telling us to never be afraid to stand up for something that is right even though you are alone.Like for example the people that don't want Trump as the U.S president are standing up and are protesting becaues they think he will not be a good president and will bring conflict to the United States.Those people are not afriad to stand up and fight for what is right ,So never be afraid to stand up for what is right.

Environmental Health

Specialist

An environmental health specialist is a general term for someone who inspects environmental health systems to make sure they are in compliance with local, state and federal regulations. These regulations are set by the government to keep citizens safe and health.

The Environmental Health Sciences department has an articulation agreement with the California Department of Public Health which allows EHS MPH graduates to sit for the Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) exam after graduation. Students interested in completing the requirements for REHS will need to take specific electives and core requirements while in the program.  Requirements are listed below. Interested students are advised to set up a meeting with the EHS Internship Coordinator, Azadeh Terceman as soon as possible after matriculating to UCLA, preferably fall quarter of the first year.

This quote means that when you set goal you set them to go accomplish them. I have a life goal agenda and im planning on achieving all the goals I have on my agenda because I'm setting those goal to achieve them. Like one of my goal was to become a C.T.R person and I already became one. When i was small my goal was to learn how to ride a bike and i set that goal to me and i achieve that goal. So when you set up a goal to yourself it's because you are going to achieve it.

Columbus Day

Reflection: I think that this is a very important holiday because we remember about Columbus and all the things he did.

Like when my goal was to learn how to play football and instead of me giving up i put in work and know it became a passion and I love that sport. So when your goal is to become obedient don't give up just try your best.   

Veterinarian

A veterinarian diagnoses and treats animals, much like a physician does for humans. Veterinarians must go through extensive training to be able to identify and treat medical conditions in animals. A veterinary medicine program generally takes 4 years to complete and includes classroom, laboratory, and clinical components.Although not required, most applicants to veterinary school have a bachelor’s degree. Veterinary medical colleges typically require applicants to have taken many science classes, including biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, zoology, microbiology, and animal science. When I was smaller i wanted to learn who to  ride a bike and i would get mad because I wouldn't learn fast and my mom would tell me that it takes time.From that moment I realize that it take time to learn how do new thing in life and that you must practice.So when you what to learn some thing just keep in mind that it takes time and you learn to do by doing.In oder for me to get an “A” on a test i must practice becaues i can’t just get an “A” like that.

                                    

Emergency Medical Technician

Emergency Medical Technicians are the health care professionals who initially assess the condition of the patients and determine the necessary course of action. These workers provide medical support to the patients while they are carried to the hospitals. They respond to the emergencies arising out of causalities like criminal violence, natural disasters, fires, air and land accidents, etc. Most of them render their services on a land ambulance but may also work on an air ambulance plane or helicopter. Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Otolaryngology is the oldest medical specialty in the United States. Otolaryngologists are physicians trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. They are commonly referred to as ENT  physicians. Otolaryngologists diagnose and manage diseases of the ears, nose, sinuses, larynx (voice box), mouth, and throat, as well as structures of the neck and face.

Education and Training for Otolaryngologists

Otolaryngologists are doctors of medicine. Therefore, like all physicians,, otolaryngologists must obtain a medical degree (D.O. or M.D.) after college. In the United States, the education track for otolaryngologists includes:

• Undergraduate degree (4 years of college or university)
• Medical degree - (4 years of medical school)
• Residency training - (3 years of otolaryngology residency, plus 1 year of general surgery training, plus one additional year of training for a total of 5 years of residency training)

Dermatologist

Duties and Responsibilities:

  Dermatologists are physicians who treat conditions related to the skin, though they may also treat disorders related to the hair and nails. Dermatologists undergo additional specialized training beyond receiving a medical degree to become experts in skincare, and they must also obtain a license to practice. Some dermatologists choose to further specialize in the field by concentrating their work in pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology or procedural dermatology. While precise responsibilities are contingent upon the subspecialty of dermatology, most dermatologists have similar duties.

I would like to be a dermatologist because I like working with people and they make a lot of money.
